Collaboration isn't new. Since the beginning of the human race, tribal peoples have worked together in collaborative teams to build shelters and find food. Those ancient tribes have now evolved into project teams armed with high tech tools.

In fact, no one really works alone. The idea of a lone creative genius is mostly a myth. Even the solitary writer or artist works with editors and critics. As technology invades our lives, our working together online becomes just a new way to use an old skill.

In this module, you will learn skills and tools to work with team members online. These skills include:

  1. Communication basics
  2. Online collaboration tools
  3. Team facilitation
  4. Creative thinking and brainstorming
  5. Critiquing and prioritizing
  6. Project timelines
  7. Project management
